Love Yourself

I was reading a book last night written by Joel Osteen called Your Best Life Now and one section stood out to me in particular when I think of talking to teens about healthy self esteem. He said that we should stop looking at what others are doing and to run our own race. "If you are the best that you can be, then you can feel good about yourself, if you do the best you can do then you can hold your head high"
This is true for all of us but this is especially important for our teenage girls. We should teach them early on to love themselves and not to compare anything to another person.
We are not who we were yesterday and we will be even better tomorrow. Live fully, love who you are, and be the best you can be.
